The Tigerettes Dance Team from Graves Elementary won an unforgettable victory at the 1st Annual "Battle of the Border" MCDA competition in Del Río, Texas.
The Tigerettes won Division Champions with their Jazz, and Pom routines that left the crowd stunned with their level of technique. Tigerettes not only won two 1st places, but were also recognized further for their routines. With perfect scores their Pom dance took "Best Dance Award" of the entire event and their Jazz routine earned the extra merit of "Best Choreography".
The girls also made their debut as soloists!These talented dancers showed off their unique styles and technique winning 4 different categories Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Lyrical and Variety Dance.
