EPHS Tells its Teachers "Mahalo Kumu!"

"Mahalo Kumu" means "Thank You Teacher" in Hawaiian 🌺

EPHS Student Council celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week, May 8-12, 2017. All week long StuCo demonstrated to their teachers how grateful and thankful they are for the hard work and long hours they put in to make Eagle Pass High one of the best high schools in the nation.

Student Council kicked off the week on Monday by letting teachers know how "Fanta"-bulous they are, plus remind them "they're all that and a bag of CHIPS."
On Tuesday StuCo made sure the teachers knew "How SWEET it is to be Taught by Them!"
Wednesday StuCo thanked the teachers for "Making us one Smart Cookie."
Thursday "StuCo thanked them for Going the EXTRA Mile."
Finally, on Friday May 12th, everyone was invited to a mini Hawaiian Luau with a catered luncheon. EPHS Student Council broke the monotony of the long work day and took all teachers and staff on a very well deserved mini vacation.

Student Council would like to thank all its members for their contributions, donations, and hard work. Special thanks to the Leadership class for spending six arduous days making decorations and handing out treats.

EPHS ROCKS!
