CC Winn High School’s Student Council met to decorate the school’s main hallway for 16 de Septiembre.
Members had a blast displaying maracas, Mexican flags, and hand made cultural flowers to truly embrace the spirit of Mexico’s Independence Day. StuCo hopes to continue to celebrate future cultural events to bring awareness to the students.
The celebration of 16 de Septiembre has become somewhat of a tradition at Winn after their 16 de Septiembre Pep Rally from the previous school year went viral and was featured in many different newspapers across the state!
