English IV Renaissance Faire Poem

On February the eighth,
Of the year two thousand and eighteen,
Students from far and wide,
Came to crown a new king and queen.

The Renaissance Faire
Took place at our beloved C.C. Winn
With much pride in our students
And the work they turned in.

Castles were built.
Renaissance Fashion was all the rage.
And many young Thespians
Impressed on the stage.

The kids, they did research.
Procedurals, too.
And they analyzed text
To give Shakespeare just due.

Presentations performed.
New adaptations created.

The parents rejoiced
As the students paraded.

So we bid you adieu.
Our heartfelt thanks go to all.
We hope you enjoyed it,
As we all had a ball.
