Friday, February 2nd, Benavides Elementary Life Skills students worked on an activity where they are predicted if the groundhog will see his shadow.
They went outside to confirm their predictions and found out the groundhog saw it's shadow and we will have 6 more weeks of winter.
Students also made hats and edible groundhogs using chocolate donuts, marshmallows, shell crackers, candy eyes and frosting.
Bulldogs had a wonderful time learning about Groundhog’s Day!
