Graves Elementary has been an active participant of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Pennies for Patients and their Student Council is hard at work prepping this year's fundraiser.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research and providing education and patient services.
The money donated to this organization are spent on patient and community services, research, public health and professional education.
Last year, the Tigers managed to collect $8,393 for Pennies for Patients, thus breaking their donation from the year before by $900!
The Tigers have continuously broken their record every year in donations!
They are hoping for this to continue this year thanks to the generosity of the community and campus.
Go Tigers!
