WHS Brings the Fashion

C. C. Winn’s Sound and Fury Productions brought the glitz and glamour to this year’s Renaissance Faire Fashion Show.
Under the direction of Mrs. Mercer, a total of 68 students from all grade levels owned the runway showing off their beautiful designs and creations.
Students represented either members of the various social classes of the time period or characters from their favorite Shakespearean plays.
The students represented monks, pirates, gypsies, maidens, knights, princes, queens, you name it, they were there.
In addition, characters from plays such as A Midsummer’s Night Dream, Anthony and Cleopatra, Hamlet, Julius Caesar, King Lear, Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet, and The Taming of the Shrew also made their appearance on the runway.
Students worked diligently for four weeks to see this event through.
Time spent on research requirements, meetings, and rehearsals made the event’s success possible.
Mrs. Mercer would like to express how proud she is of each and every one of the students who worked the runway with confidence and glamour.
Special thanks go to the Master of Ceremonies, Miss Kiara Estrada, and Back Stage Coordinator/Fashion Show Model, Mr. Joey Guerrero.
