Wednesday, October 3rd, Mrs. Ruan, Benavides' Special Education Resource Teacher, made a small presentation for Downs Syndrome Awareness.
Mrs. Ruan gathered the school together to celebrate their fellow Bulldogs with Downs Syndrome.
The Bulldogs emphasized that all students with Downs Syndrome should be treated like all students with respect, acceptance, and love.
The Bulldog family loves and believes in every student at Benavides Heights Elementary!
