Tuesday, October 30th, Mrs. Ibarra's 1st grade class at Graves Elementary enjoyed their read aloud and activity just in time for Halloween!
The students were treated to Julia Donaldson's "Room on the Broom" that tells the story of a kind witch who invites a collection of animals to join her on her broom, though her cat thinks it will get too crowded.
Her new friends make themselves useful, however, when the witch is threatened by a fearsome dragon.
Inspired by the story, the Tigers created their very own brooms and added guests just like the witch!
