Wednesday, October 24th, Mrs. Vargas' 5th grade class at Ray Darr used dice to review numerical expressions.
A numerical expression is a mathematical sentence involving only numbers and one or more operation symbols.
Students created their own numerical expressions by rolling the dice and then simplified the expression by using order of operations.
The Mav with the highest combined value at the end of the game was declared the winner!
