Friday, September 28th, Mrs. Felan’s and Mrs. Cedillo's 1st grade classes at Ray Darr learned about solids, liquids, and gases.
They were tasked with completing a worksheet to determine what different items fit into what state of matter.
Coincidentally, they were given a treat by Ms. Chacon Friday afternoon and were not allowed to eat the treat until the figured out what state it was in.
The students determined the cupcake was a yummy solid!
They also learned that a candle blown out is a gas and juice is a liquid.
