Wednesday, October 24th, Mrs. Montes’ 4th grade students at Pete Gallego continued their hands on learning with the geoboards.
A geoboard is a mathematical manipulative used to explore basic concepts in plane geometry such as perimeter, area and the characteristics of triangles and other polygons.
They classified two dimensional figures based on the presence or absence of parallel or perpendicular lines or the presence or absence of angles of a specified size.
