Every year, during their bye week, C. C. Winn's Maverick Football team shows their grand appreciation for their teachers.
Wednesday, October 24th, a select group of teachers were honored by their students as they were humbly asked to wear their jerseys for the day.
The athletes choose the teachers they feel have been supportive of them and whom they feel have made a positive impact in their educational career.
Without a doubt, these teachers wear the jerseys with immense pride and are truly humbled as this act of gratitude outlines the respect that their students have for them.
At C. C. Winn High School, both the teaching and coaching staff work together to mold the young men who walk the halls of Maverick Nation.
It is because of this teamwork that the C. C. Winn Mavericks will continue to #WinnTheDay!
