Monday, October 1st, the 7th grade students in Mrs. L. Flores' class at Eagle Pass Junior High read, "Rikki-Tikki-Tavi".
"Rikki-Tikki-Tavi" is a short story in the 1894 anthology The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling about the adventures of a valiant young mongoose.
After finishing the tale, the class discussed the elements of plot structure and placed the story events in chronological order outside in the halls.
