Late Friday, September 28th, after cleaning and packing up the concession stand at the the football game, Winn Student Council members set up a special banner they made for the Thundering Maverick Band!
StuCo displayed it in the band hall wall as a surprise for the band to see at 4am Saturday morning.
This was a happy welcome for the band as they prepared to leave for their Pre-UIL contest in Austin at this very early time.
It was well-received and the social media shout-outs were much appreciated!
