C.C. Winn's Thundering Maverick Band would like to thank Maverick Nation and the community of Eagle Pass for helping them, once again, bring home the coveted People's Choice award Saturday, September 29th at the Capital City Marching Festival.
Although the other bands in the competition were from large cities in the San Antonio and Austin area, the support of Eagle Pass was evident as the band won by a margin of well over 200 likes.
This is the second time that the Capital City Marching Festival has the People's Choice Award, which consists of viewers tuning in to the festival's Facebook page, viewing the show and liking/loving it.
This is also the second time Winn brings home the honor.
