Saturday, September 29th, over 120 teenagers met up for a great cause.
They assisted in painting over graffiti in hopes to beautify their community.
Members from C.C. Winn's National Honor Society, Interact Club, and Student Council met to help with this community service project.
The Student Council Energy and Environment Committee are dedicated to participating in events like this on a monthly basis.
Interact Club sponsor, Ms. R. Mancha, joined these teenagers on Saturday morning.
She helped distribute snacks as a small token of appreciation for the teenagers and their excellent deed.
The Mavericks applaud these students for taking time out of their Saturday morning to make a positive impact in their community.
