Before Christmas break, students in Mrs. Torres-Hdz's class at CC Winn were asked to write an expository response essay explaining whether it is better to give than to receive.
After having read and extensively discussed "A Christmas Carol" and the main character's changes through the story, students were able to write about the literature as an example to support their positions in their essays.
Students then got creative and built their own elves on Thursday, December 20th.
