April 3rd - April 18th, C.C. Winn High School and Eagle Pass High School students part of the Computer Maintenance Club are joining forces with The Buddy Foundation to give a second chance to all the homeless dogs in our community.
The Buddy Foundation was created in 1995 to create a no-kill, safe place for homeless animals in Arlington Heights, Illinois.
Their purpose is to provide immediate aid to stray, abused or abandoned animals and lead people through the process of adopting a new friend.
The Buddy Foundation will accept any item that may be beneficial to the rescued dogs, including leashes, collars, beds, blankets, toys and food bowls.
The event was planned by the Computer Maintenance Club and directed by Mrs. Rodrigues.
The items can be donated in room A-137 or A-132 in the C.C. Winn High School Frank Chisum Regional Technical Center.
