Wednesday, April 3rd, Eagle Pass High students in Mr. Heriberto Tobias' Art classes participated in The Memory Project.
This is a unique initiative in which art students create portraits for abandoned, orphaned, and neglected children and teens around the world. The photographs of the children's faces are provided to art students who create the portraits, and the organization The Memory Project delivers them back to the children.
The photographs that were delivered to Mr. Tobias were of children from Bolivia and the goal was to draw realistic portraits as close to the original photograph, so that the children would be able to recognize themselves in the works of art.
Congratulations to Mr. Heriberto Tobias and his art students for making this world a better place!
