EPHS Explores the Spectrum

Mrs. Lucila Fortune's Child Development, Principles of Education and Training and Interpersonal Studies classes at Eagle Pass High School learned about and explored the autism spectrum.
The students were asked to create an informational book full of facts and data that would be beneficial to parents or anyone who wanted to become more familiar with this theme.
Wednesday, April 15th, Ms. Rachel Sahagun was kind enough to donate a $25.00 Gift card to the best book. S
he has a personal interest in the subject because her son is on the autism spectrum.
It was narrowed down to 5 and it was difficult to choose so Mrs. Fortune provided 4 other gift snack bags to the rest of the winners.
Ms. Fortune would like to thank all her students for their efforts and hopes this project served as an avenue for information and awareness about Autism and that they become more accepting and inclusive of students or anyone they meet who is on the Spectrum.
Congratulations to all students as they've all learned many worthy life long lessons.
