Sunday, April 7th, Amanda Alvarez from Sam Houston and Leah Hinojosa from Armando Cerna represented their campuses and district at Encore Performing Arts Competition in Austin, Texas.
Both girls earned a gold score for their dance solos and qualified for Nationals in June.
They also had an exciting opportunity to meet the staff from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy.
