EPISD Represents at City's Earth Week Presentation

Friday, April 26th, Eagle Pass Independent School District's Superintendent Advisory Council, the EPISD Spirit Ambassadors, and Robert E. Lee Student Council teamed up to represent our school district at the City of Eagle Pass' Earth Day Celebration.
Superintendent Advisory Team Leader and Winn Senior, Luis Ainslie spoke on behalf of the group to spread awareness of Superintendent Gonzalez' Go Green Initiative and Texas' endangered species.
The students alongside Superintendent Gonzalez, Board President Mr. Barrera, Board Vice-President Mrs. Martinez-Cabellero, Mayor Cantu, and other city dignitaries participated in the planting of two new trees to beautify the park.
EPISD is so proud to have such excellent representatives of our district!
All groups would also like to thank Mayor Cantu for extending the invitation and allowing them to participate in such a landmark event.

Always remember, Earth Day- Everyday!
