Wednesday, April 3rd, Mrs. Valadez' 4th grade class at Seco Mines kicked off their morning with a read-aloud. Mrs. Valadez read R.J. Palacios' "Wonder" to her class.
"Wonder" follows August "Auggie as he faces many situations as a young child, that lead to many multiple surgeries for a rare facial condition called Treacher Collins syndrome, complicated by another syndrome.
The Miners know that whatever life throws at them they can and will overcome anything.
