Monday, April 8th, English II students in Miss Cruz' classes at Winn applied what they've learned during writing units in a collaborative writing activity.
As students walked into class, they noticed that there were six different persuasive prompts posted around the classroom.
Students were tasked with responding to each of the prompts.
Students collaboratively brainstormed, created hooks, stated their positions, and provided examples for each of the prompts.
While walking around, collaborating with peers, and reading the ideas presented by others, students actively reinforced their knowledge on writing a persuasive essay.
