Friday, April 5th, CC Winn's Auto Tech instructor, Mr. Esquivel, and his students kicked off their new “car project”.
The vehicle is a 1984 Jeep CJ-7.
The goal is to restore it from top to bottom.
Mr. Esquivel stated that it was going to be a slow process to finish it, since it needs plenty of work such as brake replacement, body and paint job, tire replacement, interior work, and much more.
The students will start by removing the fuel tank, cleaning it, changing fuel lines and replacing the fuel pump. “
The first objective is to get the engine started,” Esquivel states.
