As a motivation for STAAR, Mrs. Torres at Winn began a STAAR Competition among her 4 classes.
Every time students were tested the class received points as a whole based on passing rate in the classroom.
At the end of the challenge, the class who received the most points would be treated to a breakfast/lunch party. Tuesday, April 16th, Mrs. Torres awarded and congratulated her 2nd period class, who managed to beat all the other class periods by 2 points!
She would like to congratulate them on a job well done and wishes them luck on their STAAR scores!
