WHS Finds Right Note

Friday, April 5th, Mrs. Jacquez' English I students at Winn analyzed poetry through the student's interests by having them select their favorite song. 
Students analyzed their song in a different way by looking for 10 different devices, explaining their purpose, and even creating visuals to enhance their understanding. 
This also served as a great review on those literary devices students will be seeing not on only on the STAAR test but in their future English classes as well.
