As district approaches, CC Winn's UIL Number Sense Academic team gave it one final push the day before District on March 29th.
The team stayed after school and prep to be district champs once again.
Coach, Mrs. Ramirez, gave the students practice tests one after the other to increase their speed and accuracy.
After each test taken, they went over the questions they got wrong and learned new tricks/methods for solving the problems.
The members of the team have worked hard all year, pushing one another to bring the best out of each other.
Number Sense Captain, Michael Chavarria, said: “This team is hungry to be the best. I’m lucky to be blessed with these dedicated and hardworking teammates.”
