WHS Texas Government Symposium

The Dual Credit students at Winn were hard at work completing a research paper for their Texas Government class.
The students were tasked with writing a research paper about Texas Sanctuary Cities Law.
Students Karyme Ramos and Britney Martinez, volunteered to present their findings in the annual Texas Government Symposium.
Each presenter prepared a position on the subject and presented their arguments to the class.
The presentation was then followed by a question and answer session.
All students were well versed on the topic and questioned each presenter on their position.

The annual Texas Government Symposium was coordinated and monitored by SWTJC Instructor Mrs. Josie Rodriguez on Wednesday, April 17th.
Way to stay informed on current issues Mavs!
