Wednesday, March 27th, Miss. Uriegas brought a twist to her 9 Weeks Biology review at Winn.
She introduced her students to the Plicker card reviewing method.
Plickers is a rapid-response classroom-polling app that lets teachers use one mobile device to scan paper cards for student responses.
The teacher holds up a device such as a phone or a tablet and scans students' responses, which are recorded.
This twist on reviewing not only breaks the students from the usual question and answer review method, it also helps them be able to retain more information.
