English II Pre-AP students in Miss Cruz' class at Winn have been reviewing for their EOC exam on April 11th.
In order to liven things up and keep students motivated, Miss Cruz had students research and build an argument on the recent removal of Chick-fil-A from the San Antonio International Airport.
Monday, April 1st, students participated in a gallery walk in which they observed and critiqued each others essays and over all presentation of projects.
Students made historical connections to supreme court cases and even the US Constitution.
Through this activity they reviewed elements of persuasion and saw what techniques are both effective and ineffective when writing a persuasive essay.
