Mrs. Fortune's Child Development class at Eagle Pass High School has been learning about the fundamentals of taking care of babies and about their development.
As a culminating activity, they were able to take a Simulated Baby home for the day on Friday, May 17th.
They had different tasks that they had to do and document in baby care basics.
Mrs. Fortune's class also studied food allergies in support of the district's Food Allergy Week.
They learned interesting and new facts that made them more aware of allergies and what to do in an emergency. They were taught the importance of being aware of their surroundings and people around them in case of a food allergy reaction!
