Roadrunners Celebrate Dia Del Nino

Tuesday, April 30th was Dia Del Nino in Mexico.
Dia Del Nino originated in Mexico in 1925.
This day usually consists of special activities for children in parks and sports centers.
Sometimes, the children will be given presents by their families.
Rosita Valley 1st grade joined in the celebration and took the opportunity to let their students know how important and special they are.
They were given a certificate for a happy "Dia del Niño" and some candy bags and treats.
Some students even exchanged gifts with friends to let them know being a KID is just AWESOME!
Go Roadrunners!
