On the early morning of April 27th, C.C. Winn High School’s Student Council and National Honor Society were hard at work preparing for their 1st annual Spring Into Action Leadership Workshop.
This workshop was held to congratulate the two winners of a food drive the organizations hosted for the Our Lady of Refuge community food pantry.
One school from the Northside and one from the Southside had the opportunity of attending this workshop which was to help broaden their knowledge on communication, teamwork, and most of all leadership.
Student Council and NHS members prepped for this workshop throughout the week to make sure all materials were at hand in order for the day to run smoothly.
Members had the opportunity of interacting with the kids and guided them throughout the workshop activities as team leaders and group facilitators.
Student Council and NHS hoped that the kids benefited from this workshop and would like to continue this new chapter for the years to come.
Thank you to San Luis and Glass Elementary for joining the Mavericks for this project!
