Thursday, May 9th, students in Miss Cruz' English classes at C.C. Winn created tokens of appreciation for the women they appreciate most in their lives- their mothers.
Students were tasked with writing a favorite memory, reasons they love their mothers, and share two jolly memories with their mothers.
Some students went above and beyond by creating Mother's Day cards.
One of the students stated, "I haven't made anything for my mom probably since I was in second grade. I can't wait to surprise her with this."
While continuing to practice creative writing skills, students were able to create handmade tokens of appreciation to give to their mothers this coming Mother's Day.
