WHS Meets Up

At C. C. Winn High School, no measure is too great when it comes to helping the Maverick students succeed. This is especially true for Social Studies Department Head Jeannette Dickerson when it came to testing week.
Students worked diligently all-year long in the U.S. History Dual Credit classes to complete their college-level course-work, while still preparing for their high school STAAR test.
Ms. Dickerson, however, wanted to reassure her students that they were indeed ready for the EOC exam, so the weeks leading up to the test date, she held tutorials after school and offered extra help through the REMIND app.
She even went the extra mile to hold one last study session for students at McDonald's the evening before the test on May 8th, from 7pm-10pm.
This was especially helpful and comforting for those who wanted one last review to ease their nerves and recap as a group.

Good luck to all the Juniors who tested this Thursday, and WHS knows that your scores will be great!
