Wednesday, September 25th, the students in Mrs. Chio's class at LDC worked on their segmenting skills with a fun game if bean bag throw.
The teacher would give them a picture card and they had to divide the word into syllables and select their answer by throwing a bean bag into the corresponding tub.
There were 3 tubs labeled 2, 3 and 4 which indicated the number of syllables in a word.
The students also learned about good sportsmanship.
