Thursday, October 3rd, 4th grade at Sam Houston Elementary got a head start on Expository writing!
Starting on October 3rd, students in Mrs. Torres-Hdz's class and Mrs. Ochoa's class began diving into the genre and format.
Students were introduced through the use of a PPT and an accompanying fill in flipchart.
Students enjoyed the writing process and worked through it without any fear to tackle the task!
Both teachers were excited to see learning at its fullest and student engagement despite the fact that writing can be a daunting task.
Cougars at Sam Houston are motivated and ready to continue growing in their writing capabilities as the year progresses!
