Celebrating the end of the First Nine Weeks of the 2019-2020 school year, C.C. Winn High School's English Department gathered for a special luncheon on Friday, October 18th, hosted by Department Head, Mrs. Lori Camarillo.
The team was happy to close off the first grading period which was filled with grammar lessons, essay writings, novel studies, and more. They are now ready for an equally exciting Second Nine Weeks packed with sonnet analysis, research writing, and for some, Shakespeare studies.
After a much needed delicious meal, the English teachers welcomed the weekend to recharge batteries to start the second grading period.
