On Oct. 17, C.C. Winn NHS members came together to packages over 400 items donated to the women's shelter.
The women's shelter is directed by Carolina Buentello, who watches over numerous amounts of women who have dealt with domestic abuse, sex/human trafficking, drug abuse, and other instances.
For the past 4 years, C.C. Winn NHS has donated care packages full of hygiene products such as shampoos, conditioners, body wash, pads, and so much more to the women's shelter.
It's a small step that may no way compared to the necessary help of those women's needs, but any help counts. Either by donating children's toys during Christmas, giving school supplies, taking care of children, or other events, C.C. Winn NHS is happy to, not only help but bring awareness to the importance of the necessity of the women's shelter.
It's a safe place where women seek aide through their toughest moments and where the strength of just one woman or the help of anyone can help so many people in need.
