On Tuesday, January 14th, C.C. Winn NHS members visited Perfecto Mancha to mentor 5th and 6th graders. Mrs. Alamillo's 6th grade class guiding angels are Dayanna Renteria, Jesus Gonzalez, and Noelia Cantu. The day started with various questions from the students about what to expect on their transition to middle school. Topics on finding your way around MJH, classes, extra curricular activities, and pre-ap classes were mentioned. Then, the NHS members set up a boys vs girls charade game that related to their monthly topic: Citizenship. The students had to act out different hard working members of our community. At the end of the visit, everyone gathered to take a group picture after snacks were passed out. It was a great day!
