As the end of January rolls around, the C.C. Winn Maverick boys in baseball athletics are working hard on a daily basis to secure a spot on the Mavericks Baseball team. As tryouts for the upcoming baseball season is approaching, these students are working hard every single day. On January 16, 2020, these students went over simple drills that consist of running, hitting, throwing, and lifting weights. Doing these simple drills repetitively builds up stamina and character in the players that the Maverick Baseball team is looking for. WHS wishes the C.C. Winn Mavericks a remarkable season!
