A group of spirited ladies at Graves Elementary sported their Mexican attire in commemoration of Cinco de Mayo.
Cinco de Mayo is a celebration to commemorate the Mexican Army's victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862, under the leadership of General Ignacio Zaragoza.
The whole school is feeling the Cinco de Mayo fever, as they were also treated to delicious pozole with all the trimmings courtesy of Mrs. Delia Hernandez for the holiday and Teacher Appreciation.
