Graves Elementary continues to show their big heart by giving a helping hand to those in need.
The Tigers have raised a total of $8323 in total donations for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society over the last couple of years.
Teachers collect donations by gathering receipts that the students send directly to LLS using the coin stair machine located at HEB.
This year 4th grader, Rudy Espinoza, received "Top Award" for collecting the most pennies and Mrs. Sandra Salinas, Mrs Tana Benavides and Mrs Daniel's classrooms had the most donations.
Graves Elementary's goal is to pass the $10,000 mark next coming school year.
