C.C.Winn Student Council made a late night trip Sunday, September 10th, to show their appreciation for our EPISD Police and Maverick County Constable patrolling their school.
Officer Hernandez and Deputy Zertuche have been and will continue to monitor the campus and statues all night long, all week long.
StuCo hopes that all the students from our city can enjoy this week's festivities, while following the rules, the laws, and staying safe.
The Mavericks appreciate our officers' dedication and time spent trying to keep the peace at both campuses this week.
President Pablo Garcia and head sponsor Dionni Olivares-Wueste delivered the treats a little after 11pm as their long shift had only begun and thanked them while having a chat about all the great things the Mavericks have planned this school year.
Each officer received a MAV bag of different types of salty, spicy and sweet snacks to help make the night-watch a little more bearable, along with some waters and Winn shirts.
