This past Sunday, September 10, 2017, C.C. Winn High School’s
National Honor Society ventured off on their first trash pick-up of the 2017-2018 school cycle.
With more than 50 bags of litter picked up along HWY 277, it is evident that we
must all think twice before tossing all sorts of litter (including micro litter such as straws, cigarette butts, etc.) out the window instead of inside a
trashcan.
United, as one district and one city, we can all ensure our
city is not buried under mountains of trash.
For those interested in helping maintain our city presentable,
contact the Texas Department of Transportation (Adopt-a-Highway Program).
Go Mavs!
