Halloween is known as the day of endless free candy, haunted houses, and frightening costumes.
However, that is not what October 31st was for these high school students as they get closer to college deadlines. This year on Halloween night countless students from both Winn and EPHS spent their night at the Annual College Fair.
Every year the fair rotates between high schools and this year the Mavericks traveled across town to EPHS. Students chose to attend this fair in hopes to find the perfect college for them rather than trick or treat the night away.
Mrs. Uriegas, CC Winn College Adviser, put it best when asked what the main goal of the night was, “The next journey in education should be your own. We host these events to provide opportunity for that discovery of your next journey.”
