Mavericks Coast in Physics

The students of Mr. Rolando Cruz's Physics class were recently assigned a  “Paper Roller Coaster".
The purpose of this project is to demonstrate the physics of energy and motion, as well as the process of designing and the engineering behind building their own roller coaster.
The students were able to select their teammates and get to work on their roller coaster invention.
Monday, November 6th, the students began planning how they were going to construct their roller coaster and determined themes.
Themes included abstract art, a city theme, Christmas, and many more the following days.
After selecting the theme, it was up to the students to establish a magnificent roller coaster.
This is yet another project that provides an excellent opportunity to apply content knowledge to real world applications.
