On Tuesday, October 31st, students from both C. C. Winn and Eagle Pass High School in the Medical Billing & Coding program, instructed by Mrs. Munn, worked together in setting up a timeline based on the important fundamentals of Medical Insurance.
The Medical Billing & Coding program is entitled to successfully certify students to become healthcare professionals in charge of processing patient data such as treatment records and related insurance information.
These students have the opportunity to learn the proper way in coding a patient's diagnosis along with a request for payments from the patient's insurance company.
Not only do these Mavericks and Eagles share a strong desire for their future endeavors within the medical field, but they have also developed genuine friendships among each other.
What a great way to see students from our two schools working together as one!
